  1. Can't go wrong with noodles ever or rice in a bag different flavours lol add a few things like meat veg curry sauce prawns sardines sweet corn and you have a great meal even try dried egg Powder with noodles watch funky prepper on you tube he's always showing great ideas from Tesco or other places but something's from camping shops like go out doors for food costs a arm n a leg , try nettles and dandilions very tasty dandilions for salad's and you can eat it all also the root nettles are great done the same way has spinach but has more calories also wild garlic, reeds are a good food full of starch cook like a baked potatoe

  2. Not even tuna ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™‰

  3. Good luck explaining that bag of white powder if you stopped by the police. Lol. Great vid.

  4. Nice and light for keeping weight in your pack to a minimum. Good video thanks for the ideas

  5. Useful little video, thanks for making it.

  6. Mate, you're missing a trick if you already have the dehydrator, you can pimp packet stuff with garlic, chilli etc, it makes the noodles, rices, pastas that you can buy that bit tastier. You can even buy packets of dried onion etc from a lot of the supermarkets if you can't be arsed doing it yourself.
I set aside a portion of chilli or bolognese when I'm cooking to dehydrate but 'cos the missus is a veggie its Quorn mince, not that I can tell the difference. Vac seal it too so while it won't keep forever, it does for a looooooong time. That way you can make things to your taste.

  7. cool vid m8 as always ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. What's that milk really taste like Stuart? Is it ok? I'm a bit fussy about milk and can't even drink long life stuff. Cheers mate. Lee

  9. Used to always take the Mug Shot Snack Stop until one day I finally realised how bad it tastes. Can't go wrong with noodles, my fave is Indome or Nissan brand- you get them in Chinese shops. Koka does the job though. That Cheese sauce now there's an idea does it mix through ok or go lumpy? .. for an alternative you could use Cheese Sauce granules, not sure how they taste though.

  10. 5.4k , stu ye did good, go on son , but please throw in a spam vid, i need me my spam porn.

    Greetz from Amsterdam.

  11. Hay stu them noddles melted my tongue lol , good idea with that dried milk. I have a dehydrator and the only thing i do for the camping is when i do a Spag bol i do a massive amount then do three trays or three meals and dry it, i just throw it in all mixed then when dry break them up and in a bag and in the frezza ready to go. Well filling on the trail with a mini Namm bread and a swig of whiskey. Love snikers me like. Good vid and hope you had a good trip. ATB Phil.

  12. That was a carbohydrate apocalypse but as long as you can get some foraging in for berries, plants etc. you will supplement it with vitamins and minerals and if you can catch fish you've got protein.
You're right about the MRE meals – convenient but often very expensive.

  13. I have a video like this but not uploaded it.. I like the way you explain how to do them great info mate..

  14. I have a video like this but not uploaded it.. I like the way you explain how to do them great info mate..

  15. Ha! Recently got caught in 8 hours of cold heavy rain overnight, everything got drenched. In the morning 2 of those Snack stops mixed with a packet of tuna and a cup of tea was the best thing I'd ever tasted (at that time). Great stuff!

  16. Half expected to see a tin of Spam somewhere amongst that lot Stu!

  17. @Scottish Wanderer have you ever tried the bristish army ration packs ? id been thinking about trying them. just looking for opinions. thanks

  18. Thanks for showing what you take. I've recently discovered John west steam pots: wee pot of couscous and a small can of infused oil & tuna. The chilli and garlic ones are ace. They also just sell the small tin of tuna and you can take your own couscous. It only takes 135ml of hot water, 5 mins, and you've got a nice warm lunch. Can be pricey but I stock up when they're on offer.

  19. Boil in the bags mate for a real hot meal and a lot less fuss, yes it's a bit heavier but it gets lighter the more you eat, atb mate.

  20. Looks good for trail food Stu, but for a fixed camp i would go with a steak and eggs with home fries. Yummy!. For a healthy option, Salmon and a nice Greek salad and baked spud. Less than a thousand calories brother and the oils are great for you. Cheers Moose. ๐Ÿ‘

  21. Looking forward to the video. Have a great trip mate. Atb. Stewart.

  22. How about throwing a multi vitamin in bro? Thats lots of calories, limited fiber and lots of salt but not a lot of vitamins or minerals. I know its only a couple days but it could be a cheap and easy way to make it a smidge better for you mate. ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy!

  23. Looks like a good economy meal plan. Thank you for sharing it with us,Stuart

  24. You look like you have lost weight bro have you reported it missing, nah just being silly this was a good video and an easy to follow meal guide for yourself. ATB

  28. Hi Stuart, love your down to earth attitude to your camping, but your meals are missing something, is it em, em, I've got it , it's SPAM.!!

  29. Have a good trip also where abouts you going?

  30. You've got my "thumbs up". I often use very similar type foods myself when trying to go light weight for camping. I have not bought an expensive commercial freeze dried meal for several decades or more. I prefer to shop for very similar items as you suggest here in this video instead.

  31. Stuart,
Also if you like beans there are black eyed peas in the store that are dehydrated but do not require all the soaking/rinsing thing. They are sold in a plastic bag and are inexpensive and can be cooked with and eaten immediately. They are really very good and any spices or sauces can be used with them in cooking. Can't wait for your next video. Connie

  32. Good stuff Stu and have a great trip.

  33. Cool, see you tomorrow in morisons car park โ˜บ๐Ÿ‘

  38. Useful video mate thanks, id need to take more chocky tho lol

  39. Thanks Stuart, really helpful video, I'm always thinking about how to save weight and money on food for trips – actually I'm just always thinking about food!! Lol! I really want to look into dehydrating my own stuff. Other than spagetti and chilli! I tried cooked scrambled eggs – it was inedible! Atb, Simon.
